Need help picking a scent

I'm about to go to my first job interview in 6 years. I can't make up my mind which of my scents would be most appropriate for a job interview. Can anyone help?

Here is a list of what I have:
The High Priest Not To Be Described
Snake Oil
Tamora
Azathoth
Carnal
Shub-Niggurath
Whip
I also have Calgon's Mmmmmm marshmallow body spray, but I don't like it nearly as well as my bpal.

The correct answer is, whatever makes you feel confident and capable!

My job interview scent is Berenice, because to me it smells expensive, elegant and bitchy. :P

i genuinely wish you could find a scent that makes me feel those three things. holy crap.

throw in slutty - and i'd never wear anything else again.

Hmm, for me that's Storyville or Trick #1, although Storyville's a little less bitchy and Trick is a little less elegant.

For job interviews or other professional things I try to avoid heavy or cloying scents, if I wear one at all. You just never know how people will be affected by it. Overall though, I would agree, whatever makes you feel best/happiest and/or something light.

Alternatively, just bring whatever is your top comfort scent with you and wait to slather it on until after as a reward!!

Good luck at your interview. :)

I always thought Khrysee would be a good interview scent, it's light but sophisticated. I'm not familiar with too many of the scents on your list, but I'd advise something light and subtle.

I'd be very careful about wearing scent to an interview. Perfume rarely comes off as professional. Failing that, consider if there's one that makes you feel particularly calm and confident, or failing that, one that's particularly light and sophisticated. I'd avoid anything heavy and/or sweet.

That said, I know that I found just sniffing the bottle of Snake Oil to seriously calm my nerves before giving my first serious professional presentation to the local community (about 40-50 people, and yes, I get SERIOUS stage fright.)

And good luck!

I'd vote for Carnal or maaayyybe Whip depending on how strong the leather is on you. Everything else I think might come off too smoky/spicy/earthy/hippie for a professional setting -- unless you're interviewing somewhere that would be appropriate! :)

I'd be careful wearing much of any scent to an interview. If you do, go with a really light application--enough for you to know you've got it on, not enough for people to be turning heads from a distance.

That being said, I'm not familiar with much on your list except Snake Oil. My recommendation is to go with the "lightest" scent on there (which would NOT be Snake Oil.) Think toward the delicate end of the spectrum.
